Learn from Laurent Sureau, a legend of the handpan scene who has been around since almost the beginning! Laurent is a multi-talented musician who has done nothing but breathe music since childhood. Growing up in a family of musicians, he started on the piano at the age of six and then immersed himself in an incredible variety of percussion - from classical to modern, from West African balafon to hang.

Driven by curiosity and a love of experimentation, Laurent effortlessly mixes styles and sounds: traditional, improvised, electronic, pop, experimental or classical - for him, these are all just different color palettes. Added to this are vocals, body percussion and an extremely wide-ranging musical know-how that makes him a real border crosser.

Although he shines with prizes, Diplômes d'État and degrees from the French Conservatory, Laurent unfolds his true power beyond all the rules - where creativity and the joy of playing are at home. Travels, master classes and countless encounters have shaped him into a unique musical personality.

He has already played with an impressive range of artists and projects and is currently on the road with his solo “Unlimited”, with Owa, Labulkrack and Toma Sidibe - always with the same goal: to share music, connect and create new worlds of sound.
