Mainz - "Next Steps" Handpan Workshop Modul "Melodie" (2 Tage)
Neutorstr. 10
55116 Mainz
The Leander Greitemann Masterclass is aimed at everyone who has already taken the first steps on the handpan and would like further inspiration.
- Do you sometimes sit at your instrument and can't think of anything new?
- Have you lost your initial enthusiasm and have been playing less or not at all lately?
- You know a few beat patterns and maybe a whole song, but it's not that easy for you to create something new?
- Do you want to get (even more) into free improvisation that creates real songs?
- You are inspired by my game and want to know my secret 😉?
- Do you want to get more out of your head and more into your feelings when you play?
- You want to get endless new starting points for new songs, compositions and improvisation?
If you answer “yes” to just one question, then you’ve come to the right place (and if not, then ask me your questions and we’ll see if they can be answered in the master class).
The master class consists of three main courses. They are the basic building blocks of all music: rhythm – harmony – melody. You can either book them all one after the other or just choose a topic that particularly interests you. The three courses are logically structured one after the other. However, you don't necessarily need the previous courses to get along with a single topic. We will offer several rounds. You can also complete the three parts in a different order.
Melody. Creating touching melodies
Beautiful melodies enchant and stay in the heart. In this seminar we'll look at the secrets of good melodies. Together we'll find out: How can you make your playing even more melodic? Which techniques and playing styles help you? How can you compose beautiful melodies or improvise within the flow of the game? It is also the conclusion of the master class. Even if you weren't there for all the modules: here we bring the threads together and combine rhythm, harmony and melody into a holistic song.
We will cover the following topics (and more):< /strong>
- What exactly is melody?
- Where can I integrate them into my game? How do I create the space for this?
- What intervals (tone spacing) are there, what do they sound like and how do they work in my melodies?
- How can I use flams (suggestions) to make my melodies more interesting?
- How can I combine rhythm, harmony and melody into an overall composition?
